My client wanted to be able to host parties all the way through the year, whilst enjoying a quiet sanctuary to relax in during the working week.

Planet House, Mill Hill, London, Modern-Build Minimalist Garden

This was an extremely unique property set in 3 acres of sloping woodland. Originally a cold war bunker, with part of the building underground, the client wanted a clean, minimalist planting scheme to emphasise the property’s outer-worldly quality.

The flat exposed area was ideal for mediterranean dry planting (a combination of arid prairie plants) and the sloped woodland provided a great setting to introduce more unusual feature trees. The expansive green roof (170 square metres) was ideal for a sedum planting scheme. A moss garden was created towards the back of the property and led through the woodland to the grassy banks of the driveway.
